Beyond medical function
An ostomy is a surgically created opening in the abdomen (stoma) that allows bodily waste to exit into an external collection pouch. While ostomy bags serve an essential medical purpose, conventional designs can overlook comfort, discretion, and self-expression, particularly for young, active individuals.
